Meet Nathan

My fiancée and I love living in Shakopee! Our favorite thing about living here is being a part of the tight-knit community and supporting local businesses. We are found attending events like Rhythm on the Rails, frequenting local hotspots, and volunteering in the community. We are proud to call Shakopee our home!

Professionally, I work in the energy industry advocating for an all of the above energy solution to Minnesota's energy demand. Using every available source of energy the free market says works should be an option to decrease energy bills and support economic development. Fortunately, I don't work with legislators and lobbyists in St. Paul. Instead, I get to work with farmers, landowners, business and community leaders, and those directly impacted all across Minnesota with the objective of creating a resilient and reliable energy grid. 

I want to serve fellow Shakopee neighbors on the city council! We have great neighbors, incredible businesses, and hardworking people that live here. I will continue this by fighting for worker/business-friendly and resident-focused policies on the city council.
